3rd Week

For the third week I focused more on create a graphic logo or some
type of graphic that can be tied in with the UWF sustainability.

These were four designs I came up with. I used an orange because it relates to the Florida oranges and I've notice that other sustainability graphics include a green plant or foliage.

2nd Week

We met up with Larry McGrady and he gave us a list of stuff he wanted to get
done and numbered them with priority. He wanted us to really focus on the Office of Environmental Sustainability web page. So we went and look at other websites
of other schools and their sustainability web page and maybe try and get
some ideas to help with the uwf/sustainability web page.

He also wanted us to design some type of graphic that students and
public can recognize it has like a logo, but not a logo. He gave us the design that
him and someone from the marketing department came up with for UWF Recycle.

1st Week

For the first week I focused on my colors. I realized that I wasn't that good at choosing my colors, so I went back and did some exercises with color.

#1

#2

The first exercise was to take two small squares of the same color and make them look like different colors by surrounding them with different colors.

For the second exercise we were to take two different colors and surround them with a combination of colors that will make the two different colors look the same color.

#3

For the third exercise we practiced with different hues, saturation, and value of the colors.

#4

In the fourth exercise we were to practice making colors look like they were on top of each other or underneath one another using transparencies.
